The ever changing destination club industry is always fluid. New clubs enter the sector with their own unique spin of the concept on a routine basis. Some of these clubs go onto become pioneers of the industry, providing members years of memorable vacation experiences while others quietly fade away.
The destination clubs you can find below are currently in their pre-launch and launch phases. Abundant Life Providing members access to a global collection of homes in the $2 to $3 million price range, Abundant Life Club features a diverse collection of executives and a rather unique sales approach to market their young club.
Botiga Taken from the French "boutique," Botiga planned to launch their property portfolio in the winter of 2008. When the financial markets and real estate values began to drop, the young club elected to delay their launch and plan to reintroduce their name to the market as the economy begins to stabilize.
CareFree Elite Emerging out of CareFree Lifestyle, CareFree Elite is a young membership club that provides members access to luxury real estate, but also exotic automobiles, private jets, and watercraft. The Florida based and focused club has three different membership cards available.
Compass Destinations Created by parent organization Compass Group International, Compass Destination Clubs is focused on Central American where the developers have the most experience. Announced late in 2008, Compass plans tentatively launch officially in the early part of 2010.
Dream Circle Destinations Based out of South Africa, Dream Circle Destinations utilizes an equity model for their young club. The club continues to offer their founding membership and continues to make headway in the growing equity sector of the industry.
Elite Shares Elite Shares enters into "strategic partnerships with some of the most reputable vendors and global exchange networks available." These partnerships afford members access to luxury vacation properties, private jet hours, automobiles, and boats.
Emperum Club Officially launched early in 2009, Emperum's structure revolves around the growingly popular pre-paid travel card structure. Members purchase a card that provides them a predetermined number of nights of access but also free transfers, tours, and dining gift cards.
How Fun Resorts Briefly known as "LUSSO 2," How Fun Resorts was created by members of the fallen LUSSO Collection. Targeting a more financially secure structure than their predecessor, How Fun Resorts began the initial steps to launch but has yet to fully materialize to date.
LUXLife Announced in August of 2009, LUXLife is initially limited to the Singapore and Hong Kong markets and just 399 members. Using what they call a "new hybrid equity model attributes," LUXLife introduced their new club in September of 2009.
Moncasa Private Club Residences Also known as Moncasa Caribbean Experience, the Toronto based club focuses strickly on acquiring beach properties in the Caribbean for members. Launched in September of 2008 to their Canadian target audience, the public launch remains on the horizon.
Paragon Destinations Founded by former High Country Club member Jason Bindra, Paragon Destinations looks to fill the void that the former club left following their bankruptcy at the value level within the industry. Dedicated to financial disclosure and accountability, Paragon will initially lease the properties available to members before purchasing properties debt-free.
Residential Vacations Group Still in the early phases of their launch, Residential Vacations Group likens their model to a combination between Equity Estates and Rocksure Property. After 14 years, the club plans to liquidate their real estate holdings and distribute 90% of the appreciation to members.
