Ventures Equity
Annual Dues

One of the earliest equity destination clubs, Ventures Equity Vacation Club would quietly grow their club to approximately 20 members following their launch in 2005.

The growth of the club was slowed by marketing restrictions that all equity destination clubs face, and Ventures Equity wasn't able to keep pace with the leading non-equity clubs in the industry like Exclusive Resorts and Private Escapes.

Members of the club were considered "equity partners" and would enjoy a portion of the proceeds when Ventures Equity liquidated their real estate holdings after eight to 12 years in operation.

"Ventures Equity Vacation Club delivers on every demand of the new generation of second home owners, including diverse locations, sophisticated concierge services and a creative financial model that allows them to buy more for less – with the defining difference of true equity ownership," the club's literature said. "This is no marketing hype. As an Equity Partner, you are entitled to a share of the proceeds from the sale of the properties in proportion to your share in the limited partnership that owns the expanding portfolio of residences. Did we mention the average value of these luxurious homes is in excess of $3 million? We select real estate in coveted resort markets poised for above-average appreciation over the life of the partnership's operating period (eight to 12 years). While non-equity clubs are busy using your deposit to finance their acquisition of rapidly appreciating real estate (to the sole benefit of the club management), Ventures Equity Vacation Club members are enjoying the best of the luxury vacation club lifestyle – with the added opportunity for an appreciable return on investment."

Members could choose between "full partnerships," known as the Premiere Equity Partnership, or "half partnerships," called Leisure Equity Partnerships.

Premiere Equity Partnership

Premiere Equity members had 28 nights of annual access to the club's portfolio of luxury vacation properties. Each year, members paid $30,000 in annual dues.

Leisure Equity Partnership

As evidenced by the name, "half members" received half of the full member's allotment of annual nights for half of the price.
