Vantages West was introduced to the destination club market in 2005, but by 2006 had already ceased operations.

Memberships in the club were available for $300,000, but the club failed to adequately compete against the likes of Exclusive Resorts, Private Escapes, and other industry leaders. Few, if any, members joined Vantages West before they ceased operations.

Undercapitalized, Vantages West never drafted any press releases and received very little media coverage, indicating that the club likely jumped the gun on their launch.
