Originally known as Abercrombie & Kent Destinations Clubs, Tanner & Haley was created after A&K pulled their valuable brand name when the club failed to pay their licensing fee to the travel giant.

The master brand of Private Retreats, Distinctive Retreats, and Legendary Retreats, Tanner & Haley's executive tree still remains a strong presence today in the destination club sectors. While not all officially with Tanner & Haley, the list of destination club executives that served with Private Retreats, Abercrombie & Kent Destinations Clubs, or Tanner & Haley Destination Clubs is a who's who list of industry players, including:

Including these executives, many employees of Tanner & Haley remain serving in the destination club industry as employees with Ultimate Escapes, the fusion of Private Escapes and the club that purchased the assets of Tanner & Haley, Ultimate Resort.

While many contributed greatly to creating the Tanner & Haley experience, the club made very few of these executives known to the public.
