The Notes From The Club section of Destination Club News is traditionally reserved for club's to write about themselves. News items, ongoing promotions, and anything else they care to discuss. Unfortunately, Sybaritic Retreats never managed to emerge when they launched in 2004 and never disclosed anything about their club.

No information was ever revealed about the club's pricing, policies, benefits, executives, or any other component of the club.

The club exist solely as an idea and a website for its entire existence. The site consisted of just one page, a looping series of general descriptions of Sybaris and definitions of the word sybaritic. The only details that would indicate the company was even a destination club was the tagline "The World's Most Exclusive Luxury Residences."

Based on this overwhelming lack of details, it seems that the club launched but had not finalized any of their structure.

According to public domain records pertaining to the club's website, it is possible that the club would have been built around a model where club members paid a low membership fee to join the club in exchange for reduced prices at luxury hotels and resorts. While many organizations have similar business plans, this type of club design is most commonly not considered a destination club.
