Southridge Club
Press Releases

Launched officially in July of 2009, The Southridge Club would offer members privileged access to three of the most iconic properties in Palm Springs, California. "Southridge is not a destination, residential or fractional club - it's been referred to as an Experience Club," the club would publish.

Contrary to the more traditional destination club model, The Southridge Club would not charge a membership deposit to join, but rather an annual usage fee each year over a three year membership. Members would receive 10 nights of access each year for $100,000 annually. Members would have access to all three properties concurrently, amounting to 13 total bedrooms and over 17,000 square feet of living space. Based on this structure, the club would largely plan to cater to large families looking to travel together and businesses planning corporate retreats.

The club would limit their total membership to just 18 ultra-high net worth individuals and quickly found their first member, an unnamed US billionaire.

Just as the club was beginning to expand their marketing and sales efforts to fill their final 17 memberships, the owner of the three residences elected to sell the properties rather than pursuing the club option.

While disappointing to the club's agents, the individuals behind the club are considering a similar club concept for the future.
