Solstice Collection
Documents

One of the most exclusive destination clubs in the industry, Solstice had originally planned to include just 42 members who would have exclusive access to seven finely appointed, multi-million dollar vacation properties and one private yacht.

The concept would prove successful and Solstice would remove their 42 member cap and continue their brisk growth, punctuated by a merger with fellow luxury club Parallel.

"By joining forces, Solstice and Parallel have created the ultimate luxury residence collection, offering the industry’s finest properties, unprecedented personal service, financial transparency and strength in balance sheet," the club announced. "The private club features second homes valued at $6 million each that members share exclusive access rather than own. With a focus on architecturally significant homes in locations preferred by sophisticated travelers, the new Solstice now pairs its collection of second homes with the conveniences of personal service and support from dedicated Lifestyle Specialists."

The destination club would approach the 100 member mark before the economic climate of 2008 and a defaulted loan would take their toll on the club. Joining High Country Club and LUSSO Collection as the major destination clubs in the industry to file for bankruptcy, Solstice would file for Chapter 11 in March of 2009.
