Ritz-Carlton Destination Club Properties
The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club not only brings an identifiable name brand to the destination club space, but also a unique membership structure. Members are able to choose between two membership options: Home Club and Portfolio.
Home Club Membership closely resembles fractional ownership where members have a deeded interest in one specific residence. Owners are able to use a portion of their annual allotment of nights at other locations on a reciprocal basis, but the deeded property is the dominant travel location.
The Ritz-Carlton Portfolio Membership more closely resembles the destination club model where members have access to a collection of vacation properties. Using a points based reservation system, members can visit any of the club's properties while still enjoying the financial benefits of a deeded beneficial interest in a real estate trust.
The properties currently available to members include:
- Lake Tahoe, California
- San Francisco, California
- Aspen Highlands, Colorado
- Bachelor Gulch, Colorado
- Vail, Colorado
- Jupiter, Florida
- Kauai Lagoons, Hawaii
- Kapalua Bay, Hawaii
- Abaco Club, Bahamas
- St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands
In addition, members have access to "more than 70 Ritz-Carlton hotels and resorts worldwide," including destinations such as Cancun, Grand Cayman, Central Park, and other popular travel locales.
