Date: July 26, 2005

Honors Young Through Charity Donation

Private Escapes Destination Clubs congratulates Platinum member Steve Young on his upcoming induction into the NFL Hall of Fame on August 7, 2005, at Fawcett Stadium in Canton, Ohio. Young led an illustrious career as quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers, and was named All-Pro and earned All-NFC honors multiple times. He joins other enshrinees Benny Friedman, Fritz Pollard and Dan Marino.

Young joined Private Escapes Platinum in February 2005, having found a luxury lifestyle travel option that fit his family’s needs.

“My family is very active and loves exploring new areas—Private Escapes Platinum fit the bill perfectly because of its residences in top resort locations worldwide,” said Young. “With a track record of success, Private Escapes Destination Clubs will provide wonderful experiences and memories for my wife and our sons.”

Young is a member of Private Escapes Platinum, the first and only destination club to give its members upside to their investment through annual club credits. The fully-refundable entry fee for Private Escapes Platinum is $190,000 with annual dues of $10,500. Its sister club, Private Escapes, is the sensible luxury option providing an affordable destination club alternative with entry fees of $95,000 and annual dues of $7,200. Members will ultimately have virtually unlimited access to 70 properties in 25 locations including Grace Bay in Turks & Caicos; Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; Reynolds Plantation, Georgia; and Lake Las Vegas, Nevada.

“Steve and his family could have joined any destination club they wished,” said Richard Keith, president of Private Escapes Destination Clubs. “Their decision to join Private Escapes Destination Clubs offers powerful testimony to the value our firm presents when compared to the others in the sector.”

In support of the multiple causes Young has founded and continues to support, Private Escapes Destination Clubs gave away four one-week stays at its Platinum residences for participants in the Steve Young Desert Golf Classic’s closest-to-the-pin contest, which raised money to benefit the Forever Young and Anasazi Foundations. Private Escapes Destination Clubs is also donating $1,000 to the Forever Young Foundation for every new member from the Bay Area that joins after July 15. Young established Forever Young to support community projects and non-profit organizations, effectively serving the therapeutic and academic needs of seriously ill and underprivileged children. The Anasazi Foundation is an outdoor behavioral program which provides treatment for substance abuse, depression, family conflict and other concerns.
