Simplicity International Appoints John Schopfer As President/COO

Simplicity International Chairman and CEO Jeffery Tallman announced the appointment of John Schopfer as President and COO of Simplicity International

Simplicity International is an exciting new leisure-industry company offering unique and private membership programs for high-end vacation homes, resort properties, lifestyle and destination retreats as well as luxury travel. Its innovative Private Portfolio Club™ provides exclusive portfolios of high-end vacation homes in the most sought after regional and worldwide travel destinations. Members of the club have access to these extraordinary homes, each of which has a dedicated staff providing services you may expect to find in a resort or hotel.

Chairman/CEO Tallman commented, "We have spent the last year and a half fine tuning our product and with this addition are now in a position to fully launch into the marketplace. After many years of various executive positions in the vacation ownership resort arena, John Schopfer began focusing on the emerging high-end private residence club industry in 1998, founding Resort Capital Resources, Inc. and later CLUBworks International, resort development services firms specializing in product development, financing, project start-up and marketing and sales of high-end resort real estate and private clubs.

In the past 6 years, private residence clubs and high-end fractional resort real estate have taken hold at the luxury level with both the Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons having entered the market. And more recently, luxury vacation home membership clubs have exploded into the market with Exclusive Resorts, Abercrombie and Kent’s Private & Distinctive Retreats and others jumping in.
