The Portofino Club Benefits The Contemporary Art Museum of St. Louis

Date: November 23, 2003

The Portofino Club held a charity event on Tuesday, November 18, at 6:00 pm in the Performance Hall of the Contemporary Art Museum of St. Louis to benefit the Contemporary Art Museum of St. Louis. St. Louis' elite enjoyed marvelous hors d'oeuvres and cocktails provided by Wolfgang Puck, and an elegant selection of flowers provided by Schnuck's Florist.

"It is an honor to have the opportunity to work with the Contemporary Art Museum," said Ron Tapp, Portofino Club Chairman. "We are happy to be able to benefit such a fine organization." The Portofino Club topped the evening's entertainment with an auction, won by Jeremy Cox, for a seven-night stay in the guest's choice of one of the Club's homes in Kona Coast, Hawaii, Napa Valley, California, or London, England, with all proceeds benefiting the museum. With the combined auction and cash contributions from the Portofino Club, the event raised $5,700.
