Jeff Benton Selected as Director of Business Development

Exclusive Resorts, the pioneer and global leader in luxury residence clubs, is pleased to announce the addition of former All-Pro wide receiver Ed McCaffrey as Vice President of Sports & Entertainment. Just months after retiring from the NFL, the three-time Super Bowl champion joins the dynamic business development team of the fast-growing private luxury membership club known for its unrivaled portfolio of hundreds of multi-million dollar residences in dozens of the world’s greatest destinations. Additionally, Jeff Benton, former Director of Partnerships for the United States Tennis Association (USTA), joins the company as Director of Business Development to further strengthen the team.

McCaffrey has played with the New York Giants, San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos, and he holds both a bachelor’s in economics and a master’s in organizational behavior from Stanford University. He will be involved in all aspects of business development with a focus on increasing Exclusive Resorts’ brand awareness to athletes and entertainers.

“I’m excited to work for a company with huge potential, run by intelligent, hard-working visionaries who want to be part of a winning team,” says McCaffrey. “Exclusive Resorts is the ultimate way to vacation and spend time with family and friends. I’m looking forward to educating other athletes and entertainers about how to make the world their second home.”

Jeff Benton also joins Exclusive Resorts with an illustrious background in the sports industry. Most recently, he was the Director of Corporate Partnerships for the United States Tennis Association. Previously, he was the National Sales Director for the PGA Tour, where he developed, sold and implemented corporate marketing partnerships and created strategic alliances with many of the Tour’s partners. In addition, Benton created the successful Premier Partnership program, which attracted new corporate support for professional golf.

In his new position, Benton will be responsible for the company's sports and entertainment strategic business development alliances globally. Both McCaffrey and Benton are based in the company's Denver headquarters.

“The privacy of our invitation only club makes it very appealing to the sports and entertainment industries,” said Tom Filippini, Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of Exclusive Resorts. “With these two talented appointments, we expect to increase awareness and affirm Exclusive Resorts’ position as the recognized luxury residence club leader in the sports and entertainment industry.”
