Date: August 2, 2006
John M. Schopfer, RRP, Managing Partner of CLUBworks International, LLC has announced that he has acquired Simplicity International, LLC and various other holdings under the Simplicity brand name. The move makes Schopfer Chief Executive and Principal Partner of Simplicity International with CLUBworks, a development services company, operating as one of its wholly-owned subsidiaries. Simplicity is a real estate development company pursuing resort, vacation, second-home and leisure lifestyle products for high-end consumers. Other subsidiaries of Simplicity International, LLC are Simplicity Holdings, LLC and Simplicity International West Indies, LLC.
Simplicity International’s initial product offerings are currently being developed for its Enclaves TM brand.
Schopfer, who initially brought Simplicity International to market in the Destination Club arena in March of 2005 as its President and COO reports that he was disappointed when a larger resort development group quickly ‘snapped up’ the growing entity last summer. However, (he) "was extremely pleased to acquire Simplicity when the opportunity presented itself this time around!"
The new "improved" Simplicity brand vision will continue to expand "The Simple Life of Leisure" initially conceived by the original company. The goal is to develop select properties and services that offer a personalized and exclusive experience of quality, comfort and style, set in an atmosphere of casual elegance.
Simplicity’s Enclaves™ offer private and intimate developments of whole-owned homes in distinctive architectural style and casual elegance. Enclaves™ combine private ownership with an overlay of high quality amenities and custom services.
During his career, Schopfer has worked with many outstanding resort ownership real estate companies in both domestic and international markets. His broad experience encompasses products representing the best of vacation clubs, private residence clubs and high-end private golf. His background includes work with RCI Europe, Pahio Resorts, Intrawest and Vacation Internationale. His focus on the private residence club began in 1998 when he founded Resort Capital Resources, Inc. and later CLUBworks International. These resort development services firms specialized in product development, financing, project start-up and the marketing and sales of high-end resort real estate and private clubs. Schopfer is an active leader in ARDA (American Resort Development Association) and his CLUBworks International is currently an ARDA Trustee Company.
