Dream Catcher Taps Walter Kress, Jr. as VP Sales

Hiring Rounds Out Dream Catcher Sales Team

Dream Catcher Retreats, a leading private luxury destination club, today announced the appointment of Walter Kress, Jr. to the position of Vice President of Sales.

Mr. Kress joins the team with more than 20 years of experience in sales and sales management in the financial services industry. Most recently he was the Manager of Institutional Sales to the defined contribution platform market for Mellon Institutional Asset Management. Walter also served as President of Mellon Advisors; the high net worth group at Dreyfus. Earlier, he was a Branch Manager and Regional Development Manager during his 14-year tenure with Prudential Securities.

Before entering the financial services industry, Walter was involved in real estate development and club operations as the Property Manager for the Ramapo Hunt and Polo Club Estates in northern NJ.

Mr. Kress is also an award winning sports-yachtsman; having sailed in numerous races, and was awarded the 2002 Fred Alofsin Award for Dedication to Sailing and Shake-a-Leg.

Based in Northern New Jersey, and working out of Dream Catcher’s Greenwich, CT offices, Mr. Kress holds Series 7, 63, 8, 24 securities licenses, in addition to holding Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designations.
