Resignation and Redemption

The first destination club crafted exclusively for the outdoorsman, the Presnell Sporting Collection brings a unique resignation structure to their unique club.

Presnell Sporting Collection members receive an annual allotment of points that can be used for numerous activities within the club, including hunting game on the African plains, bone fishing in the Bahamas, or shooting quail in Georgia.

Like the traditional destination club model, members pay a one time membership fee to join the club and annual dues to continue accessing the club's amenities. Once a member elects to leave the club, a portion of the original membership fee is refunded to the member.

"Presnell Sporting Collection will return the Membership Deposit for a Membership that is and at all times has been in good standing," the club writes. "A member can request the return of the Deposit paid at any time. Consistent with our Guarantee of Excellence, a Member may seek a 90% return of the Membership Deposit during the First Year. The return is 80% for Years 2 through 5; 70% for Years 6 – 15, and the Member receives after Year 16 the market price for the last four Membership Deposits received, less a 15% transfer fee."

This type of membership favors members on the beginning and end of the spectrum. Members who join that are not fully satisfied with their membership can resign within the first year and only lose 10% of their membership fee, far less than the majority of other destination clubs in the sector. On the other extreme, members who have been with the club for 16 or more years can receive far more than they originally paid to join if the club has been successful and continued a consistent string of price increases over the years.

Members who resign between their 6th and 15th year receive the least of any resigning member classifications within Presnell at 70%, but this is just 5% less than other leading clubs in the industry refund, including Exclusive Resorts and Quintess, The Leading Residences of the World.
