Presnell Sporting Collection

"Presnell Sporting Collection is an exclusive, high-end membership similar in concept to a private destination club. Membership in Presnell Sporting Collection confers access to an endless collection of global, high-end sporting and leisure travel venues that understand our Members' requirement for excellence."

Designed for the elite sportsmen who wants to go dove shooting in Argentina, bone fishing in the Bahamas, or hunting game on the African plains, Presnell Sporting Collection functions very much like a destination club despite the obvious difference in product. "Presnell Sporting Collection is an exclusive, high-end membership similar in concept to a private destination club," the club writes. "Membership in Presnell Sporting Collection confers access to an endless collection of global, high-end sporting and leisure travel venues that understand our Members’ requirement for excellence."

Offering five different membership plans with membership deposits ranging from $50,000 to $249,000 and annual dues between $35,500 and $142,000, Presnell operates on a points based system that members use to access the club's thoroughly vetted sporting experiences. Each venue is rated against the Presnell Guarantee of Excellence Index, a metric created by the club to ensure that each experience meets or exceeds their standards. "The Presnell Guarantee of Excellence Index was carefully crafted to assure both the quality of service and the overall guest experience at each venue we offer. Venues are scored under this proprietary Index on the basis of sporting environment; event results, which includes trophies taken and abundance of game; lodging; amenities; service; food and beverage; guest satisfaction and much more."

Venues are reviewed annually to confirm that they continue to meet these standards.

Based on the membership plan, members receive between 50,000 and 400,000 of points to use. As an example, a four night, three day stay trout fishing in Montana for two people would cost 16,000 points. A six night, five day stay in New Zealand hunting Red Stag costs 46,000.

This points based system allows members more flexibility on when they travel, prioritizing the length of stay, location, and season of their travels. This points based system is an increasingly popular option in the destination club industry with The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club, The Discovery Club, and several other clubs using similar structures.

Presnell Sporting Collection members can exchange up to 2,500 points each year to travel through a partnership with The Registry Collection, a global exchange leader that has hundreds of properties available to members.

Led by Kevin Presnell, the club is still in its Founding Membership phase and offering several special benefits to members, including savings of up to $71,000 off the eventual price of club membership and superior redemption policies.
