Premier Destinations Annual Dues
"In comparison to other destination clubs, Premier Destinations excels on value and stability and member services. We offer unlimited use and no nightly fee for the first 56 days used per year. We include at no extra charge to you, a vehicle while in residence, limo transfer to and from the airport, and dinner the day you arrive is prepared by our private chef. Of course, there is daily housekeeping and a full-time concierge staff to attend to your every need."
One of the small destination clubs to emerge in 2006, Premier Destinations by Anne Sebastian was founded by Vicki Vorhees with the assistance of former employees at Abercrombie & Kent Destination Clubs, who would go on to be known as Tanner & Haley. Premier Destinations would largely market their club around the superior service provided to members.
"As a Premier Destinations member all your travel and vacationing will be a relaxing and joyous experience. The limo will meet you and take you to the residence which has been stocked with your requested groceries and you will enjoy the private chef's special dinner upon arrival. There is always daily housekeeping, full time concierge service with helpful local expertise, and an automobile for your use in most locations. Our sixty plus homes are all exquisite estates valued at an average of three million dollars each and professionally designed by Gilbert Holmes. He finely appoints each unique home with the casual elegance you can enjoy and still feel right at home. All homes have a gourmet kitchen, state-of-the-art media room, and at least four bedrooms with attached spa-like bathrooms. Most also have an in-home fitness room, a pool and hot-tub, and an outdoor living and entertaining area."
Despite their industry experience and white glove service with members, Premier Destinations by Anne Sebastian was unable to compete against the dominant industry players such as Exclusive Resorts, Private Escapes, Quintess, and Ultimate Resort. By 2007, the club had quietly closed their doors with only a handful of members.
Prior to their closure, the young club would offer two different membership options: Individual and Corporate.
Individual
Strangely marketed as "unlimited usage," Individual members received 56 nights of free access each year. Annual dues at the Individual level were $19,600 and if a member passed the 56 night limit, they could travel for additional days for a $200 per night cost.
Corporate
Like the Individual Membership, Corporate Memberships provided for free access to the club's properties for the first 56 nights of annual usage. Members could designate multiple users to enjoy the club benefits, including employees, vendors, and clients.
Members paid a "40% surcharge" on their membership deposit, but the annual dues remained the same as the Individual Membership at $19,600. Members would pay $200 per night for every night of usage beyond their 56 night limit.
