Due to the fact that Paradise Destination Club never drafted any press releases or were featured in any articles pertaining to the destination club industry, they are one of the most unknown clubs in the history of the sector.

The club proudly published that all club properties were owned debt-free and that the only indebtedness the club would incur would be maintaining the properties, which was easily covered by members' annual dues.

Upon a more thorough review of the club's model, it appears that the young "destination club" actually more closely resembled a travel exchange program. It appears that members would make their vacation homes available to the club in exchange for access to properties owned by other members.

While the club did not fully publish their inner workings and business model, other clubs have used similar structures in the past. Typically, the club sells memberships like other destination clubs for a one-time membership fee and annual dues. While these members have access to the vacation homes contributed by other members, the club purchases properties by using the refundable membership deposits to create their own portfolio.

The benefits of this model is that the club can launch with a collection of vacation residences already available to members without paying for any of the costs associated with home ownership. The drawbacks are a variable travel experience based on the different homes and styles within the club's portfolio.

With no press releases or news coming out of the club, virtually no one learned of the club and it appears that Paradise Destination Club has ceased operations as several inquiries and phone calls have not been returned.

Joining a destination club as a charter member can be a strong value as members traditionally receive decreased pricing and preferential travel benefits, but also have less security on their membership deposit compared to other more established clubs.
