"Why pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for a vacation home in only one location and still have to absorb ever increasing maintenance costs?" the executives of Paradise Destination Club asked.
Based out of Baton Rouge, Paradise marketed themselves as a value priced alternative to other destination clubs, including Exclusive Resorts and Private Escapes.
"Now you can vacation in large beautiful Luxury Vacation homes for the price of a small hotel room," wrote President Michael Dignam. "We are sure you will be totally satisfied with PDC's quality procedures to make your every vacation a memorable one. In fact, we guarantee it."
"The Management and Staff at PDC realize that the best way to accomplish our goal is to have input from the membership. Your suggestions are always welcome."
Paradise Destination Club would proclaim a series of club specifics regarding their financial structure, including:
- Debt-free ownership of club properties
- Zero leased properties
- Zero indebtedness
- 100% of operations covered by annual dues
The executive team behind the club was never fully disclosed, but there was "two founders" with "over 50 years of combined experience in the travel industry."

Despite the club's financial focus, Paradise never generated enough interest to move forward and it appears that the club is no longer in operation, likely with no members.
