Paradise Destination Club Documents
One of the most unknown destination clubs in the history of the sector, Paradise Destination Club would compare themselves to leading destination clubs like Exclusive Resorts and Private Escapes when marketing their unique club structure.
"We researched some of the top Private Residence Clubs to see if we could find one comparable," wrote the club. "We looked for clubs offering competitive enrollment fees, annual dues, and access to as many exclusive luxury private vacation homes in the hottest destinations in the world."
"We understand that there is more to compare than just enrollment cost, such as concierge services, guaranteed reservations, how many family members can use the homes, can non family members use the homes, is the club debt free, are there any additional hard amenities for members, and much more. You can bet we excel in ALL these areas and more."
The club would focus their offering on a financial centered business model that included:
- Zero debt properties
- No leased properties
- Annual dues completely covering annual costs
- 100% refundable membership deposit
While in their Charter Membership phase, the club would offer two different membership plans, providing between 20 and 40 nights of base plan access with unlimited space available reservations available by paying a per night cost.
It appears that Paradise Destination Club ceased operations as numerous inquiries have not been returned. In all liklihood, the young club had few, if any, members. With no press releases, news coverage, and a very poorly designed website, no documents pertaining to Paradise Destination Club were ever made available, but the club did disclose information that was included in their membership documents.
According to the club, the club contracts stated that their member to property ratio could not exceed eight to, but the club would target a four or six to one ratio. Paradise would also refund members on a two in, one out resignation structure.
Joining a destination club as a charter member often provides numerous membership benefits, including preferred pricing, more say in the club's future, and superior access to club properties. Unfortunately, it is also the riskiest time to join as the club has yet to achieve sustainable revenue from new membership sales with likely no experience in the destination club sector.
