Ultimate Resort To Institute Waiting List To Join

Closing out the second phase of their Charter Membership offer, Ultimate Resort will put new inquiries on a waiting list beginning February 1st to allow the club the opportunity to expand their current property portfolio and not compromise availability for existing members.

Limited to 40 members, the current Charter Membership offer is available for $150,000. Once the club begins their subsequent membership phase, prices will increase to $175,000.

Averaging $2 million each, Ultimate Resort’s portfolio includes residences in Los Cabos, Steamboat Springs, New York City, and other popular destination club locales. Properties are typically appointed with:

  • LCD and Plasma Televisions
  • High Speed Wireless Internet
  • Surround Sound
  • Video Game Consoles and Games
  • Private Pools
  • Hot Tubs

With the destination club industry growing significantly more competitive as new players emerge, instituting a waiting list for new members may lead potential members to look at other options, but does help maintain low occupancy rates. Ultimate Resort has identified several destinations they are considering, including popular destinations such as Barbados, Chicago, Costa Rica, and Tortola, but have named the Bahamas, Lake Tahoe, and Hawaii at the top of their list.

In recent months, The Leading Residences of the World, High Country Club, Havens, and Signature Destinations have all been actively marketing their Charter offerings. Those interested in destination club membership also have to consider some of the more established clubs in the industry like Exclusive Resorts or Private Escapes, making for what can be a difficult evaluation process.
