Ultimate Escapes Plans Multiple Property Improvements
By: Destination Club News Date: November 28, 2008
One of the reasons that many travelers ultimately join a destination club rather than purchasing a second home is the issue of maintenance. Vacations start with changing light bulbs and mowing the lawn and end with cleaning out the gutters and vacuuming the carpets. Destination club members don't have to deal with such issues and Ultimate Escapes is proving it as they begin to make improvements to many of the properties available to members.
Over the next several months, the world's second largest destination club will make upgrades, repairs, redesigns, and changes to various residences spanning the globe, including:
- Palm Beach, Florida: Repairs to roof and patio doors and new X-Box game system
- Lake Tahoe, California: Sealant protection to driveway
- Beaver Creek, Colorado: New lighting and computer
- Naples, Florida: New large flat screen television in dining room
- Los Cabos, Mexico: Design enhancements and computer installation
- Deer Valley, Utah: Replacement of shower fixtures
- Steamboat Springs, Colorado: Staining exterior deck and railings and new outdoor grills
- Telluride, Colorado: Computer installation, including office desk and chair
- Nevis: Refurbishing of pool and pool decks, including lighting, tiles, and paint
- Scottsdale, Arizona: Computer installation in all residences
As the busy ski season approaches, now is the time to make these changes, especially when considering the possibility of a surge of new members from Ultimate Escapes' competitor High Country Club who has struggled mightily in recent months. High Country Club announced a restructuring plan earlier in the year that led Ultimate Escapes to create a new offering for High Country Club members that could save them up to $40,000 on an Ultimate Escapes membership. Limited to 200 members, the promotion will expire on December 12.
