Ultimate Escapes Hires Ted Curtis As Chief Sales and Marketing Officer

Just a few short weeks after hiring Robert Glinka to serve as their new Chief Operating Officer, Ultimate Escapes is again bringing in a seasoned executive to their leadership team. Today the club announced that Ted Curtis will serve as the clubs Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, overseeing the club's brand, marketing strategies, and member acquisition and retention.

"Ted Curtis will bring strong leadership to our expanding sales and marketing team," said Jim Tousignant, President and CEO of Ultimate Escapes. "Ted has a strong track record of creating successful marketing strategies while managing sales teams in the resort and hospitality industry. We are excited about adding Ted to our senior management team to further extend our leadership position within the destination club industry."

Serving as a consultant to Ultimate Escapes since November of last year, Curtis has served as worked in the resort and shared-use hospitality industry in the United States, Caribbean, Middle East, and North Africa. During his career, Curtis has served at:

  • Celebrity Resorts: Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing
  • Trendwest Resorts: Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing
  • Hilton Grand Vacations Company: Managing Director and Vice President

The University of Vermont alumni will join the world's first publicly-traded destination club and one of the most newsworthy clubs within the destination club sector over the past several months. Since the plans to make Ultimate Escapes a public company were released last year, Ultimate Escapes has made several exciting announcements.
