The Hideaways Club Plans Price Increase
By: Destination Club News Date: February 5, 2010
The Hideaways Club, one of the leading European based destination clubs and our selection for the 2009 International Destination Club of the Year, has planned to increase their share prices next month following a very exciting first quarter of 2010.
In early January, The Hideaways Club and Equity Estates announced a reciprocal partnership that allows members of both clubs access to the other's collection of vacation properties, adding a collection of residences in America, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
"Our companies have a common model and a common goal: to provide unparalleled vacations coupled with a sound investment, so it seems natural to create this strategic alliance for the benefit of our individual companies and our respective owner members," said Mike Balfour, Chairman of The Hideaways Club. "This is a unique exchange relationship in the industry and greatly enhances our opportunities for growth moving forward."
Just days after the announcement with Equity Estates, The Hideaways Club and Banyan Tree Private Collection partnered. Like the Equity Estates alliance, members of both clubs would have reciprocal access to the other club's property portfolio.
Between the partnerships with Equity Estates and Banyan Tree Private Collection, coupled with their own collection of residences, members of The Hideaways Club now have access to nearly 50 properties around the world, including new destinations such as:
- New York City, New York
- Ringha, China
- Kyoto, Japan
- La Jolla, California
- Deer Valley, Utah
- Seychelles
- Los Cabos, Mexico
- Maui, Hawaii
With these new developments, The Hideaways Club plans on increasing their share prices next month for new members. Currently, the destination club offers membership options ranging from £122,500 to £235,000 with annual dues ranging from £7,000 to £14,000, offering different levels of annual points and reservation windows to members. New members that act before the pending price increase will lock in the current pricing.
The Hideaways Club traditionally "resets" share prices each six months, meaning that the next change will likely take place near September.
