The Hideaways Club Launches The City Collection

The Hideaways Club, closing in on 200 members of their ultimate 600 member scope, has now launched their second fund, The Hideaways Club City Collection, a portfolio of luxurious city apartments spanning the globe.

"Following on from the huge success of The Hideaways Club’s first Fund, the Classic Collection, a lifestyle investment concept which provides members with ownership of a portfolio of spectacular international luxury villas and chalets around the world, the addition of The City Collection is a natural extension of the company’s current operation," said Nick Bettany, CEO of The Hideaways Club. "The success of the Classic Collection and extremely positive testimonials from our members confirms our belief that this type of investment is not just a financially astute way to own and use overseas properties, but provides the means to enjoy memorable holiday experiences while at the same time providing the logical alternative to sole property ownership."

Set to grow to 120 fully serviced modern apartments, up to £1.8 million will be invested in each, with every property having a minimum of two double bedrooms and bathrooms, King sized beds, wireless internet, flat screen televisions, and fully equipped kitchens.

Planning on growing by roughly 20 residences per year, the fund will initially begin with 10 apartments including Paris, Venice, London, Miami, Prague, and New York. Rio de Janeiro, Moscow, Sydney, and Bangkok are also targeted.

Two different membership options will be available: Premium and Associate. Premium Membership gives a full equity share in the property company for £120,000. Annual dues of £5,300 will allow for 23 nights of travel to any club property, representing a per night cost of £230. Premium members have a 12-month reservation window and can make space available reservations within 30 days of travel for a discounted rate of £150. Associate Membership provides a half-share in the property company for £65,000. Members enjoy 12 nights of access per year with reservations up to nine months in advance, paying £2,760 per year in annual dues.

Ever the vigilant financial club, the annual cost contribution from members cover all of the costs of maintaining and servicing the apartments. If a member desires to leave the club, they are able to sell their share at the current share price and benefit from 80 percent of any increase in the capital growth of the portfolio.
