The Discovery Club Hosts Events Throughout Seattle
By: Destination Club News Date: May 19, 2010
Fresh off the announcement of several new properties available to members, The Discovery Club is hitting the road and will be in Seattle for over a week to educate potential members on the benefits of their destination club over dinner.
"Enjoy dinner on us and learn how a destination club membership can enhance your luxury travel lifestyle by bringing owner-like access to the world's finest hotels and resort with none of the hassles," writes the club.
The club has announced four events throughout Seattle beginning last night and lasting through the middle of next week.
- Tuesday, May 18: Salty's on Alki Beach
- Wednesday, May 19: Anthony's Homeport at Shilshole
- Thursday, May 20: McCormick & Schmick's 700 Bellevue Way
- Wednesday, May 26: Anthony's Homeport at Shilshole
Each of the four events will begin at 6:00 PM.
Most destination clubs own the properties available to members. The Discovery Club has a different approach, adding "affiliate properties" to their collection, including five-star hotels and resorts, safaris, and more. Through this design, the club can rapidly bring on new residences for members to enjoy, and with many hotels and resorts offering hundreds of units, availability is rarely an issue.
Many other destination clubs have adopted similar educational events as part of their sales and marketing efforts. Later in the week, Exclusive Resorts will host the first of two informational lunches at their corporate headquarters in Denver, Colorado. Destination Cellars has conducted countless dinner and wine events across the US to elaborate on their unique club. Late last year, Equity Estates announced a 20 city tour to further describe their equity based travel club.
If you have attended or plan to one of these events, we would love to hear your thoughts. Please feel free to contact us at contribute@destinationclubnews.com to provide your hands on perspective of these receptions.
