Spring Ridge and Alpine River Clubs Introduce Trial Membership

Companion fishing themed clubs Spring Ridge Club and Alpine River Club have introduced a new trial membership offer, allowing members the ability to join without paying any monthly dues.

From the club's newsletter:

There’s a lot of excitement at Spring Ridge Club these days. Not only have we started a new membership drive, but to fuel that drive, we have added some new benefits and membership levels.

For a very limited time, Spring Ridge is offering a Trial Membership, a one-year commitment with a set, onetime fee of $7,950. You will be entitled to 12 days’ usage per year at either Spring Ridge Club or Alpine River Club (in Colorado). There are no monthly dues and no water access fees for direct family members, but guide fees still apply.

As a Trial Member, you are entitled to all of the benefits afforded to Conservation and Explorer members, and your commitment is one year. You may upgrade your membership at any time and note that if you upgrade before June 30, 2008, all of your fee will be credited to the higher membership level deposit amount.

Similar to the destination club concept, both the Spring Ridge Club and Alpine River Club offer a limited number of members access to a collection of amenities. Unlike most traditional destination clubs who provide members with access to luxury vacation properties, Spring Ridge and Alpine River give members access to prime fishing beats.

A growing number of destination clubs offer trial memberships to allow potential clients the ability to "test" the club experience prior to making large investments to join the club. Like Spring Ridge and Alpine River, most also allow these trial members the ability to upgrade to full membership with all of their Trial Membership fees credited towards the full membership cost.
