Second Home Destinations Introduces Offer For High Country Club Members

Once known as The Phoenix Club, aptly named for their intentions to rise from the ashes of the High Country Club bankruptcy, the rebranded Second Home Destinations is ready to introduce their charter membership offer to High Country Club's former members in tandem with their pending launch.

The former 400+ members of High Country Club will be able to enjoy 50% savings on their membership fee with only 25% of that already discounted fee due at the time of joining. The remaining balance is paid off over the following years and is fully refundable.

"For simplicity, let's say the membership you want has a $10,000 membership fee," the club outlined to us earlier this month. "We will adjust that to $5,000 for you. You will pay only $1,250 at sign up. You will not have to start your payments for the remaining $3,750 until the second year. You will have a full four years to pay it off and however much you put towards the $3,750 will be refundable at any time if you wish to leave the club."

Second Home Destinations has also unveiled a special offer for members of Ultimate Escapes, giving them a one year trial membership with the club with no membership deposit required.

While options for both High Country Club and Ultimate Escapes members have been crafted, Second Home Destinations has told us that both options would be available to club members.

The High Country Club bankruptcy is approaching the two year mark and it will be telling to see how many former members look at Second Home Destinations after already being burned by one destination club. If the young club can capture a sizeable portion of these former members and capitalize on the opportunity presented by the Ultimate Escapes bankruptcy, we may see the dominant leader in the value section of the destination club industry.
