The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club Fills Leadership Positions

Over the past several months, the Ritz-Carlton Destination Club has filled leadership positions at many of their locations, bringing a great deal of experience to the equity destination club.
The Abaco Club on Winding Bay, A Ritz-Carlton Managed Club recently named Ronald Parker as the new General Manager of the island sanctuary where he will oversee the daily operations of the club. Prior to his new role with The Abaco Club, Parker served as General Manager at the Ritz-Carlton Club, St. Thomas. Prior to that, he worked as the Vice President of Purchasing for the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC in Chevy Chase, Maryland. In all, he has been with the organization for 28 years.
The Ritz-Carlton Club, St. Thomas named Ronald Hulsey as their new General Manager where he will oversee the daily operations for the largest Ritz-Carlton Destination Club property with 105 residences spread across over 10 acres. Hulsey was previously the General Manager of Cibolo Creek Ranch Resort, a boutique resort in Texas.
With over 24 years of experience in luxury hospitality, John Garth has joined the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club & Spa, Jupiter. In all, the property boasts 30 estate homes, 34 whole ownership residences, 50 destination club residences, and 17 villas. Garth began with Marriott International in sales and marketing in 1986. During the years, he held ranks of increasing responsibility before joining the White Lodging Group as General Manager of the Denver Marriott South where he received the "General Manager of the Year" award in 2004.
The Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences, Kapalua Bay has appointed Silla Kaina as Cultural Ambassador, an expansion to their member experience program. Kaina will lead and develop new programming designed for individuals wishing to learn more about surrounding Hawaiian culture.
The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club has two different membership options: Home Club and Portfolio. Home Club membership is identical to their fractional offering while Portfolio more closely resembles the destination club experience, giving members multiple vacation options without any of the hassles of trading or exchanging weeks.
The equity destination club closed 2010 on a high note, securing a partnership with the Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club, giving members even more vacation options. We will soon be profiling a recap of the rest of 2010 for the Ritz-Carlton Destination Club, so please check back soon.
