Quintess and andBeyond Partner To Create Quintess Beyond
By: Destination Club News Date: February 17, 2011
Within the past year, ultra-luxury destination club Quintess has expanded internally with the respective launches of the experience themed TOUR Club and the new DUO by Quintess, giving members numerous vacation options within the Club Holdings network. Quintess is now expanding their travel choices outside of the company by announcing the launch of Quintess Beyond, a new program created through a partnership with luxury travel leaders andBeyond. At launch, two customized options are available to members, selected primarily from remarks from Quintess members.
In their 2010 member survey, Quintess asked what would be the top exotic destination for members to access. Nearly 40% of participants voted for a South African game lodge. These comments led to the addition of South Africa to the Quintess Beyond launch portfolio where members will enjoy a ten-night tour of the country, including four nights at the chic One&Only Cape Town Hotel and three nights each at the Kwandwe Private Game Reserve and Tswalu Private Game Reserve. While in Cape Town, members will be provided a personal driver and car for greater exploration of the nearby markets, museums, and local attractions.
South Africa is joined by a ten-night tour of Kenya in the Quintess Beyond portfolio. Members will stay one night at Nairobi's House of Waine, and three nights each at the Lewa Downs Private Conservancy, Masai Mara Bateleur Camp, and Ol Donyo Lodge Private Game Reserve. The many excursions available to members include and exploration of the open savanna and game-filled plains, horseback safaris or guided bush walks, or even trips to prehistoric sites.
Neither of the two available trips have pre-scheduled departure dates, instead members are allowed to reserve either of the experiences anytime between July and October of 2011. Quintess members will be able to reserve trips using their base plan nights on a one to one ratio while DUO members have access to Quintess Beyond on a two-for-one basis. The South African and Kenyan trips will also require a $400 per day per diem plus an occupancy fee, if applicable, based on double occupancy in one room.
"We structured Quintess Beyond to be flexible enough to accommodate any needs you, your family and your friends may have," writes the club. "Plus, you can use your Base Plan nights, so planning your tailor-made, intimate travel experience is easier than ever. Quintess Beyond is just another way to take you beyond the ordinary, giving you access to more of what matters most."
These supplementary travel benefits are now the norm in the destination club industry. Exclusive Resorts created their Once in a Lifetime program to give members additional vacation privileges outside of the club's residences, and have now put members in every continent. As part of the Abercrombie & Kent family, the Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club allows members the ability to exchange a portion of their annual allotment of nights for safaris, European villa stays, or even extreme adventures such as visiting Mount Everest.
