Two destination clubs half a world apart have announced a partnership that will unite the two together. The Broomfield based Quintess, Leading Residences of the World and The Oyster Circle, a leading European destination club have aligned with one another so members of each will have reciprocal access to the homes available in the others' club.

Joining the global portfolio of over 80 Quintess, Leading Residences of the World properties with the 10 luxury vacation homes of the Dublin based Oyster Circle, members of both clubs will now have access to nearly 100 properties in 50 of the world's most exclusive destinations.

"We are pleased to announce this alliance with The Oyster Circle," said Ben Addoms, Founder and Executive Vice President of Membership Development at Quintess, LRW. "The Oyster Circle, with its strong European base of homes and commitment to creating memorable luxury vacations for its members, is a great fit with Quintess, LRW and gives our members several new destination and home choices."

Paul Crow, Chief Executive at The Oyster Circle added, "This alliance is the result of close collaboration between our companies. We believe that it offers a wonderful opportunity for our members to extend very significantly the variety of homes and holiday experiences that they and their families can enjoy inside The Oyster Circle. Quintess leads the destination club industry in innovation, quality and customer service and we look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with them over the coming years."

Quintess has arguably the most experience in the industry regarding destination club partnerships. Quintess merged with Dream Catcher Retreats to form Quintess, Catch The Dream prior to merging with Leading Residences of the World to create the club as it is currently operating, Quintess, Leading Residences of the World.

Across the pond, Dublin based The Oyster Circle remains one of the most interesting European destination clubs available. Labeling themselves as "Europe's first, premium, property-based member's destinations club," The Oyster Circle counts Cannes, St. Tropez, Chamonix in France, Sotogrande in Spain, Umbria in Italy and the Bahamas amongst their stunning destinations.

The two clubs have worked to streamline operations and reservation-booking policies so members of both clubs enjoy a seamless transition when reserving properties of the other's club.

Late in 2008, two other destination club announced a partnership focused primarily on preferred pricing rather than reciprocal access. Exclusive Resorts and Destination Cellars partnered allowing Exclusive Resorts' members to enjoy preferred pricing on Destination Cellars memberships and preferred access to luxury wine experiences.

Partnerships like these often are one of the most cost efficient benefits clubs can offer members. By expanding the number of properties and destinations available to members without severely compromising availability or incurring significant cost outpours, both clubs increase their global exposure while members gain a more diverse portfolio of luxury vacation homes.

As clubs continue to expand their offering while limiting costs, expect other destination club partnerships and other like minded organizations to join the destination club fold to enhance the club experience.
