Quintess Undertakes Property Upgrades And Adds New Membership Benefits

The line between vacation and work has grown increasingly blurred with the advent of Blackberries and laptops, leading to the average US worker logging well over 100 more hours per year than their 1970's counterpart. Even if not work related, the need for internet access to find restaurants and local attractions has fast become a critical component for many travelers. With this in mind, Quintess, The Leading Residences of the World has updated their in-home office computer and telephone systems with an all-in-one, full-featured PC system and installed Vonage/Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) so members can make complimentary long distance calls. The club plans to space out the installation process over the next two years at additional locations.

The new initiative comes from the result of membership feedback, a pillar of the club's growth philosophy. "Quintess is serious about being a Member-driven club," the club commented earlier this month. "Stay surveys, feedback to Hosts, meeting with Member Relations Managers, conversations with the management team, and the Member-wide survey all play an integral part." The club is currently conducting their all-encompassing member survey and will be accepting submissions until tomorrow.

Quintess will also be adding new Molton Brown bath products to club properties and increasing bottle sizes by approximately 100% more than previous quantities. Members have long enjoyed Dahlgren Duck products, such as linens, flatware, glass and silverware. Members now will receive preferred pricing on Dahlgren Duck products if they wish to bring the vacation experience into their own homes.

The world's third largest destination club, Quintess just recently released their financials and 2009 audit as well as membership satisfaction scores through April. The club posted marks in excess of 90% in the categories of audio and visual, overall home rating, travel planning, and overall satisfaction while in residence amongst others.

Destination club members typically voice similar high marks with their travel experiences and partnership networks. Members of The Hideaways Club receive exclusive fares on limo transfers, spa access, and special business class fares as part of their partnership with Etihad Airways. The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club formed an alliance with Marquis Jet that game members the ability to "fly on their own schedule and remain in control." Nearly every destination club in operation has a handful of these partnerships available to members, furthering the overall club experience.
