Quintess, The Leading Residences of the World gives members access to over 80 properties in more than 40 destinations around the globe. Designed primarily for families, destination clubs like Quintess give members the ability to travel together but with room to stretch out while in residence.

Jackson Hole LiftAccording to our research, roughly two out of every three destination club members have children under the age of 18, making family trips important for a vast majority of members across the sector. In recent years, the destination club experience for children has gained increased importance across the industry in an attempt to better satisfy members. The Hideaways Club, Europe's leading destination club, added Nintendo Wii consoles to their properties last year. The Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club has a list of standard items they stock in every property, including video game consoles, board games, baby gates, cribs, Pack 'n Plays, and audio monitors. Exclusive Resorts, the world's largest destination club, is preparing for one of their upcoming member only events: Kids Take Manhattan.

While each of their club properties has amenities specifically designed for the younger audience, Quintess has named their top five destinations to travel with children, each with their own set of attractions well suited for kids.

Number 5: Amelia Island/Kiawah Island
The lone East Coast entries on the list, Amelia and Kiawah Island are known for their world class golf, but also feature an attraction that nearly every child loves: the ocean. Those not relaxing on the beach can cruise the coast, watch eagles, or learn more about the historic Charleston region.

Number 4: Beaver Creek
An increasingly year round destination despite its image as a ski locale, Beaver Creek gives families a collection of activities to build their vacation around. Hiking, shopping, and biking are all favorites, but Quintess also suggests the Alpine Zipline Adventure, an opportunity to soar over a rugged canyon and take in the sights and sounds at 30 miles per hour.

Number 3: Los Cabos
With 11 properties in the region, Los Cabos has long been a popular destination for Quintess members for its easy beach access and exceptional assortment of attractions. The luxury destination club suggests an ATV tour across the San Jose estuary and onto the coast of Punta Gorda, giving members stellar views of the Sea of Cortez.

Number 2: Big Island & Maui
The penultimate selection on the list, the Big Island and Maui offers travelers pristine beaches, unmistakable views, and some of the most unique topography on the planet. Members are encouraged to view Hawaii via helicopter, touring the lava flows and black sand beaches from above. Swimming alongside turtles and other native creatures will also delight anyone partaking in any of the diving and SCUBA adventures available.

Number 1: Jackson Hole
Topping the club's list is Jackson Hole. "There is so many things to do in the summer," says Destination Host Dolly Higgins. "From ballooning to white water rafting to fly fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, wildflower excursions. The list goes on and on. Golf, tennis, swimming." The Togwotee Mountain Lodge lets guests travel through Grand Teton National Park on a scenic by-way, where native wildlife and awe inspiring views are in abundance. Jackson also offers live music, skiing, shopping, and more. For those who want to stay in, a 12 person hot tub, foosball table, and private chef are available between the two properties in the Quintess catalogue.

Destination clubs have increasingly grown family oriented, letting members concentrate solely on enjoying their time together rather than the hassles associated with villa rentals, second home ownership, or other luxury travel options.
