Quintess Donates Punta Cana Vacation
By: Destination Club News Date: March 4, 2008
Quintess, The Leading Residences of the World has donated a seven night stay to their Punta Cana residence as part of the Casino Royale 2008 Kent Denver Auction, raising over $15,250 at yesterday's auction.
From the auction's listing:
Experience Quintess, The Leading Residences of the World—an extraordinary luxury destination club—during a 7-night stay at the luxurious Hacienda Azul home in Punta Cana (June 25-July 2, 2008). This includes full housekeeping privileges as well as the full services of your own Member & Travel advisor, who can arrange every detail of your stay – from air travel and ground transportation, to dinner reservations and activity planning.
Located in the Tortuga neighborhood, which is on the front nine of the La Cana golf course, your four-bedroom Hacienda offers sophisticated island-style living, from trellised walkways connecting the kitchen to the dining and living rooms, to high airy ceilings allowing the breeze and sunlight to meringue around the room. There is 2,000 square feet of outdoor living space, including a sprawling patio on both sides of the main entertaining area with an impressive wrap-around pool. Play a game of backgammon, sample island rum and listen to local rhythms…or simply do nothing.
Relax in the serenity of your second floor open-air living space and let your eyes slowly rise toward the horizon. There’s the marooned shipwreck on the ninth-hole sand trap followed by the lush emerald fairway. Directly across the way notice the couture-inspired Beach Club decorated by island denizen Oscar de la Renta. Eventually meditate on the turquoise waves of the Caribbean lapping along the magnolia-white shore. You could stay here for eternity, or at least for a brilliant Dominican sunrise.
Your Home Includes:
- Sprawling patio with wrap-around pool
- Golf course views throughout and ocean views from the second floor
- Fully appointed gourmet kitchen
- Expansive entertaining area
- Second floor outdoor living space
- Trellised walkways
- Two complimentary golf carts
- VIP escort through the Punta Cana airport and private transportation to your home
- Access to the Puntacana Resort & Club amenities
- Carport with space for two vehicles
The Destination: The Dominican Republic is a colorful tapestry of Spanish, French, Haitian and African influences woven by a rich and storied history. Today, those seeking rest and relaxation flock to the miles of silky-fine latte-colored sand, deserted beaches and coconut palms of the eastern-tip resort compound, Punta Cana. Europeans first discovered this secret hideaway, and for the most part the ambience is “Europe in the Tropics” as seen through a Dominican filter. Rent a car or purchase an excursion if you want to sightsee or take a day-trip to Santo Domingo.
Staying in Punta Cana: Your Member & Travel Advisor is available to assist with any pre-planning arrangements and your Destination Host is on hand to confirm or change reservations once you arrive. Together, they have selected the following ten must-see, must-do items... that is, if you decide to venture from the sanctuary of your Club property. There are endless things to enjoy while traveling to Dominican Republic, and we want to ensure you area able to experience the area the way a local would. So while you peruse, we'll prepare... see you there.
Intentionally modeled to be underutilized, destination club properties routinely sit vacant and giving these unused nights to charities is a tremendous opportunity for clubs to not only let potential members enjoy the destination club experience, but also to build good will within the community.
Congratulations to our friends at Quintess, The Leading Residences of the World for supporting these causes and we are hoping for great weather from June 25th through the 2nd of July.
