My Global Playground's Philanthropic Endeavors

My Global Playground takes this perspective with their destination club and their two philanthropic programs, My Global Playground Rising Stars and My Global Playground 3 Wishes, each directed at today's youth.

My Global Playground Rising Stars

Each year, My Global Playground will help provide college scholarships to three deserving student applicants.

My Global Playground 3 Wishes

Destination clubs intentionally model their structure to underutilize club properties. This allows members more flexibility in their travel for both long term and short term travel plans. It also allows properties to sit vacant on a consistent basis. My Global Playground has incorporated this down time into their second philanthropic venture by gifting two week stays at the club's properties to terminally ill children and their families.

"Given our sincere perspective regarding the rendering of service that makes a genuine difference and positively changes people’s lives, My Global Playground has created two specific philanthropic programs, the MGP Rising Star and the MGP 3 Wishes. We invite our members and friends to refer worthy applicants to both programs annually."

While both should be applauded, the MGP 3 Wishes program is a wonderful way to use these unused nights of occupancy in the club's portfolio. The incremental cost of using a club property is nominal compared to letting it sit vacant waiting for the next member's stay. Opening up the club's collection of vacation properties to these children and their families is one of the most worthwhile causes we have seen in the destination club sector.

My Global Playground continues to offer their Charter Membership to interested parties and will increase prices once they reach the 30 member plateau. The elite level club provides members access to a collection of vacation homes valued at between $4 and $6 million and the young club maintains a "strong commitment to financial transparency."
