Through their partnership with Ultimate Escapes, Bombardier Skyjet is giving new Skyjet Card members a complimentary stay at an Ultimate Escapes Signature Club property. New members who purchase their Skyjet Card before August 31 will have one year to redeem a free five night stay, complete with full concierge services, with the world’s second largest destination club.

"Whether it’s a desire to relax on a pristine beach, golf on some of the world’s finest courses or explore a new city, the Skyjet Card is the ticket to a perfect summer getaways," says Bombardier Skyjet President Fred Reid. "By partnering with Ultimate Escapes, the definitive leader in the destination club industry, new card members will feel right at home no matter how far their travels take them."

While the promotion is limited to members joining before the end of the month, time will be a factor as Ultimate Escapes has reactivated over 300 members who will be making reservations of their own.

In January, as a result of the economic climate that claimed the lives of leading destination clubs such as The LUSSO Collection and High Country Club, Ultimate Escapes reached out to members for a one-time assessment that brought in approximately $16 million to help the club weather the financial storm. On the heels of the bankruptcies of the club’s rivals, over 300 members elected not to pay the assessment and had their membership privileges suspended. Today, the club announced that they would reactivate these suspended members and let them again enjoy club travel.

"Issuing an assessment in January was a tough but necessary and prudent decision, and time has shown it was absolutely the right decision to help strengthen the Club for long-term sustainability in an unprecedented economic environment," said Jim Tousignant, Ultimate Escapes’ President and CEO. "We want to continue to reward those Members who have been supportive through this process, while at the same time, make decisions that allow the Club to operate effectively for the long term. In addition to cutting our annual operating costs by over $15 million per year and right-sizing our real estate portfolio, we feel that reactivating all Members to active Club status is in the best interest of all members and the Club."

With Ultimate Escapes now at roughly 1,200 members, new Skyjet Card members will need to act quickly to get access to some of the Signature Club properties always in high demand, including:

  • Abaco, Bahamas
  • Los Cabos, Mexico
  • New York City, New York
  • Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
  • Scottsdale, Arizona
  • Maui, Hawaii
  • Breckenridge, Colorado
  • Chicago, Illinois
