"I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to be part of the Dream Catcher family."

Not a testimonial from a new Dream Catcher Retreats member, but rather the humble words of Mark O'Meara, a former PGA Player of the Year and the first Advisory Board member for the new club.

"I have always enjoyed traveling around the world to play tournament golf, and hopefully I can impart some of these great experiences to our membership so they can fully enjoy the properties which are part of Dream Catcher's world," O'Meara continued. "Given my love for fly fishing, I'm certainly going to include some advice on nearby streams, so people can pack their rods and reels in their golf bags as well!"

As excited as O'Meara is to join the club's Advisory Board, it doesn't approach the glee of CEO Scott Anderson. "We are delighted to have Mark O'Meara head up our advisory board. His tremendous accomplishments in golf as well as in his personal life make him an outstanding resource and inspiration to our members. He exemplifies our commitment to our members to go to endless lengths to provide special places, special people and meticulous service to create their most magical vacation memories."

O'Meara's accomplishments include 16 PGA Tour victories and eight foreign titles. He has also represented the United States on five different Ryder Cup Teams. In 1998, O'Meara won both the Masters and British Open titles, making him the oldest player ever to win two majors in the same year and securing the PGA Player of the Year award.

On the Advisory Board, O'Meara will "provide exclusive insights to Dream Catcher members on customizing the perfect golf vacation." With O'Meara handling the golf experience available to club members, Dream Catcher plans to add several other board members during the year in other fields, including health and fitness, food and wine, and family travel.

The destination club concept is largely structured around the country club model and there is an obvious synergy between the two audiences.
