LUSSO Collection Plans Upcoming Price Increase

On the heels of the LUSSO Collection’s European expansion with their new Tuscany property, the original "boutique destination club" will soon increase their membership deposit and annual dues.
Beginning November 1, LUSSO will increase their membership deposit from $425,000 to $445,000 and annual dues will move from $28,000 to $31,000. Featuring over 30 properties in 17 worldwide destinations, LUSSO remains one of the few destination clubs to still allow unlimited travel as their primary membership offering. LUSSO’s other membership plan, LUSSO 21, offers members 21 nights of travel annually and will maintain its $325,000 membership deposit and $21,000 in annual dues.
Prior to the November 1 price increase, LUSSO will conclude their current frequent flier incentive. Members who join before September 30 will not only preserve the current discounted pricing, but receive one mile for every dollar spent on their membership deposit. Unlimited members will receive 425,000 miles and LUSSO 21 members will earn 325,000 miles that can be redeemed on their choice of the following frequent flier programs:
- Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan
- American Airlines AAdvantage
- Delta SkyMiles
- Hawaiian Airlines Hawaiian Miles
- Midwest Airlines Midwest Miles
- Northwest WorldPerks
- US Airways Dividend Miles
This offer further emphasizes the value offered to LUSSO’s members and why the firm has doubled their membership since 2007 and has recently published one of the firm’s strongest quarters since inception. As a LUSSO member, you receive the following benefits:
100 Percent Redemption
One of only a select few destination clubs still offering 100 percent redemption, LUSSO has yet to actually redeem a member. To date, no one has asked to be placed on the resignation list. To allow this benefit and to protect members' capital, subsidiary LLCs, owned 100 percent by the club, hold the club’s real estate interests. Grant Thornton LLP, an accredited audit firm conducts annual audits and 85 percent of each membership deposit is used for real estate acquisitions.
Luxury Residences
In the inaugural LUSSO Collection member survey, 100 percent of members reported that they were satisfied with the club’s portfolio of luxury vacation homes. Valued at an average of over $3,500,000 per property, LUSSO has breathtaking homes in Anguilla, Turks & Caicos, and Tuscany in addition to their United States based properties. From that same survey, quality home furnishings, preparedness of home prior to arrival, concierge availability and responsiveness all scored 99 percent or better in regard to LUSSO's homes and the service provided within.
Low Member to Property Ratio
LUSSO leads the destination club industry with a 5.5 to 1 member to property ratio. While other firms hover near 10 to 1, LUSSO’s ratio are steadfastly held to, leading to the club’s superior availability. Unlike some clubs who count members differently based on their membership plan, LUSSO states "all members are on a level playing field." Both unlimited and 21 night members are counted the same in their member to property ratios.
Proven Availability
Since their inception, LUSSO has continually maintained an availability model that allows for their properties to be vacant nearly half of the time. This allows members the freedom to book trips well in advance and still have homes available for last minute, unplanned getaways.
Demonstrated World Class Service
Not content with simply providing world class accomodations to their members, LUSSO offers their members benefits before the vacation even starts. Members can arrange transportation to and from the airport, most properties have a luxury vehicle waiting for them on site and homes are cleaned daily to ensure that you don't need to lift a finger while you are on vacation.
