LUSSO Collection Extends Price Increase Deadline
By: Destination Club News Date: October 31, 2008
Boutique destination club LUSSO Collection will extend their current pricing until January 31, 2009. Originally planned to conclude November 1, 2008, LUSSO Collection will increase their membership deposit from $425,000 to $445,000 and annual dues from $28,000 to $31,000.
Citing the "challenging economic times" that have already caused High Country Club's restructuring, Vita Luxury closing, and Diamante Residences canceling their launch, LUSSO will extend their current pricing the 90 plus days to allow prospects to evaluate their portfolios and other financials prior to making their destination club purchase.
"Joining LUSSO is about relaxing and enjoying yourself in the company of family and friends. The last thing we want is to become another economic stress in your life. We look forward to welcoming you to our club when the time is best for you."
LUSSO Collection members are allowed unlimited annual travel to a global collection of vacation homes and enjoy one of the industry's leading member-to-property ratios. Purchasing a new vacation home for every 5.5 new members, properties are typically available nearly half the time.
Earlier this year, LUSSO consolidated their membership plans and created LUSSO 21, an entry level membership into the club that allowed for 21 nights of usage each year. Limited to just 50 memberships to maintain superior availability, LUSSO 21 memberships are available for $325,000 and $21,000 in annual dues. The membership deposit and annual dues attached to LUSSO 21 will not change on January 31.
Both LUSSO Collection membership offers are 100% refundable if a member elects to resign their membership.
