JetBlue Announces Addition of Turks & Caicos

Getting to one of the destination club industry's most popular locations is going to get a lot easier as JetBlue has announced plans to serve Providenciales in the Turks & Caicos Islands. Known for its pristine and acclaimed beaches, expansive coral reef system, and vast assortment of tropic fish, the Turks & Caicos are a mainstay in many club's property portfolios and top the list for many members seeking a relaxing beach getaway.

Equity Estates Turks & CaicosExclusive Resorts counts three residences at The Palms, each with panoramic views of the island and ocean. Spanning 2,600 square feet each, three and four bedroom units are available, all at The Regent Palms on Grace Bay.

Equity Estates four bedroom, four and one half bath beach penthouse, seen to the right, is one of the many popular options in their portfolio. With over 1,000 square feet of covered terrace space offering spectacular views of Grace Bay, the 4,500 square foot residence also includes private elevator access and gourmet kitchen, all available exclusively to club members.

The Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club's Villa Pima is located at the beautiful Ocean Point on the island of Providenciales. The four bedroom residence includes a fitness room, an al fresco dining area and BBQ, and direct access to Sapodilla Bay complete with its own private swimming dock.

While enveloped in a bankruptcy protection filing, Ultimate Escapes had two homes in The Somerset on Grace Bay. As a result of the bankruptcy, Ultimate Escapes has made pulled the 2,364 square foot Premiere Club home from their portfolio, but the three bedroom, three bath Signature Club residence will remain available to members until October 19, 2010.

Providenciales will be JetBlue's 17th destination in the Caribbean. Daily service from New York's JFK and weekly winter service from Boston Logan International will start in February of next year. Flights will be aboard the Airbus A320 and sales are expected to begin in October.
