How Fun Resorts Identifies Top Destinations
By: Destination Club News Date: February 23, 2009
Now over two months past the bankruptcy announcement of The LUSSO Collection, a group of members are now seeking to create a new club from the remnants of their predecessor, tentatively labeled as How Fun Resorts. The new club has surveyed members of The LUSSO Collection to determine the top five destinations desired by their potential members.
According to the results of the survey, the leading destinations in order of highest to lowest include:
- Los Cabos
- New York
- Naples
- Deer Valley
- Kiawah Island
In addition, residences in Aspen, Turks & Caicos, and Tuscany were also listed high. All destination club mainstays, How Fun Resorts has already began evaluating each of the selected regions to evaluate the real estate markets.
Based on their initial research, each appears possible with residences falling in the club's price range and former properties of The LUSSO Collection will also be considered.
To begin, How Fun Resorts plans to lease properties with plans to evolve towards ownership as the real estate markets change.
Launching a new destination club can be a difficult process, especially when marketing to a group of former destination club members who have likely lost their refundable membership deposits.
How Fun Resorts will face a difficult road in front of them, but hopefully a positive outcome comes in one form or another for the members of The LUSSO Collection.
