Elite Shares, a membership club that gave members access to vacation properties, watercraft, private jets, and other luxury services under one membership, may have seen their last day. While the club's phone number still is operational, the club's website is no longer active and e-mails to the club could not be delivered. We have left a message on the club's voicemail seeking more information about the state of the club.

Elite Shares is one of several pseudo-destination clubs that have been based out of Florida that modeled their clubs around giving members an all encompassing luxury lifestyle. "The Elite Shares Club was designed to provide high net worth individuals and corporate executives with virtually unlimited access to a growing portfolio of destination properties, private jets, yachts, and exotic automobiles," the club wrote. "Unlike most luxury fractional programs offering a single amenity, i.e, destination clubs, jet or yacht charter programs, the Elite Shares Club provides an umbrella of luxury amenities by combining the leading fractional memberships presently available offering destination properties, jet charters and exotic cars."

"In other words, why pay in excess of one million dollars to have three separate memberships when as a member of the Elite Shares Club, you can enjoy the best of all luxury amenities packages through our global partner network."

Clubs like Vita Luxury and Grand Legacy Club launched prior to Elite Shares Club with a similar concept. Neither were able to able to progress past launch. Interestingly, Vita Luxury, Grand Legacy Club, and Elite Shares all were based out of Florida, catering to a membership base centralized primarily in Miami.

The definition of what constitutes a destination club continues to evolve, but many don't categorize these types of ventures as a destination club.

We will continue to monitor the situation with Elite Shares. Please check back soon for the latest on the club and their future in the destination club industry.
