In one of our closest votes yet, The Hideaways Club has narrowly edged out The Oyster Circle and My Stones Collection for the best of our three featured French properties. With each of the three residences receiving over 30%, The Hideaways Club's La Retraite in Provençe takes home our weekly award garnering just short of 37% of the vote.

Located in the southern portion of France, Provençe offers visitors a multitude of local attractions from spas, world-class restaurants, and shops to white sand beaches and majestic fields of sunflower and lavender. Europe's largest destination club, The Hideaways Club has surpassed 120 members and posted a strong 2009 despite the poor economic conditions of last year.

Earlier this week, The Hideaways Club and Equity Estates announced a new strategic alliance that will allow members of both clubs access to the other's collection of luxury vacation properties.
