Featured Property: Equity Estates Telluride, Colorado
By: Destination Club News Date: December 13, 2009
With the peak ski season fast approaching, destination club members are eager to hit the slopes for what many expect to be an excellent, snow packed winter. Lucky members of Equity Estates will not only be able to enjoy the trails of the always popular Telluride, Colorado, during the upcoming season, but they will get to relax in style at our inaugural featured property: Equity Estates Telluride.
Announced in April of this year, the club's Telluride property spans 3,400 square foot residence showcases some of the most awe inspiring views that the destination club industry has to offer, overlooking the San Sophia Mountain Range. "Our residence in See Forever Village is across the street from The Peaks Resort and Spa," said Equity Estates' President Adam Capes. "Our owner members have full access to use the Spa and their facilities, including fantastic ski-in/ski-out access, ski storage and locker rooms." Members have access to the Golden Door Spa, Telluride Golf Course, indoor and outdoor pools, gym facilities, restaurants, and other local amenities, proving that Telluride may be best known for its winter travel, it is increasingly becoming a popular year round vacation locale.
"When we selected the property in Telluride I couldn’t get my eyes off the views," began the club's Philip Mekelburg. "The San Sophia mountain range is presented in all its splendor all year round right from nearly every room in the residence, including the patio. In order to get the most out of this we figured we should be enjoying this from a hot tub too! Hence the birth of one of the most picturesque views I have experienced while sitting in a hot tub. No other residence at See Forever Village has a hot tub on their patio. The permitting and steps required to make it happen were well worth it. Our owner members all come back with outstanding remarks about their experiences there."
The three bedroom, three and one half bath configuration is ideal for large families and friends traveling together and the property's design reinforces the mountain backdrop.
The master bedroom features a rustic wood floor, Tempur-Pedia mattress, gas fireplace, and access to an outdoor patio and hot tub. The second bedroom has two full size beds, and like The Hideaways Club, has a Nintendo Wii video game system for members, making it the perfect "base camp" for the children. Like the other two rooms, the property's third bedroom offers a large screen television and iHome technology.
A 60" LCD television rests above the stone and glass fireplace in the living room that also includes original artwork, a leather covered poker table, lounge chairs, couches, a five foot tree trunk table, and access to the patio and hot tub. Wii games, DVDs, board games, and books are already waiting for members to enjoy.
The large wood table seats up to ten in the expansive dining room, opening to the professional grade kitchen, complete with Sub Zero appliances and even a Dell laptop.
