Featured Property: Demeure Turks & Caicos

One of the most popular destinations in the Ultimate Escapes portfolio will soon be one of the most popular residences in the Demeure catalogue as the club has purchased Dundee Estate in the Turks & Caicos. One of 11 properties purchased by The Laurence Group, Dundee Estate has been selected as our property of the week by readers.

At nearly 2,500 square feet, the former Signature Club property is set on four and one half acres of the oceanfront Somerset Estates. The beach front residence includes wireless, high speed internet, an outdoor hot tub, and an additional 1,648 square feet of terraces, all offering beautiful scenic views of the beach and nearby area. The main floor includes a grand room, dining room, library/den/third bedroom, and kitchen complete with granite, marble, and stone countertops.

Last month, Demeure was selected the winning bidder for the assets of the bankrupt Ultimate Escapes and has since been on an around the clock schedule contacting members about their club.

To provide more time, the club has elected to extend the deadline for Ultimate Escapes members transitioning to Demeure until November 19, 2010. In tandem with this announcement, Demeure has revealed that they will allow members a one-time ability to decrease their annual travel commitment by 10% or increase as much as they wish, waiving the 5% unaccompanied guest use policy, and let members defer their anniversary date until April 1, 2011.

The next two weeks will be important ones for Demeure. The young destination club continues to diligently contact all of the former Ultimate Escapes members about the benefits of their offer.
