Exclusive Resorts Reaches 100,000 Vacations

Just weeks shy of the seven year anniversary of their first membership sale, Exclusive Resorts has passed their 100,000th vacation, the only destination club to reach such a mark. The trip that rolled the tripometer to six digits was a stay in Scottsdale, Arizona by longtime Exclusive Resorts members KC and Kelly Gallagher.

Members since 2004, KC and Kelly were greeted at the club's Scottsdale residence by CEO Jeff Potter and Member Services Manager Carlie Knauer for the event. Earlier this year, we reported that Exclusive Resorts was closing in on this mark and that the club had "surprises" planned for the record setting guests. Expected to take place in the first quarter of 2010, Exclusive Resorts closed 2009 with their best month of the year, possibly contributing to the noteable event taking place relatively early in Q1. This trip was the 49th for the Gallagher family.

Although we're excited to have reached this significant milestone, our focus as we look ahead is on making our members' next 100,000 trips even better."

While Exclusive Resorts may have passed the 100,000 trip threshold, their "100,000th Vacation Photo Contest" continues until February 21st. Members are encouraged to submit their favorite photos taken while traveling with the club with the only requirement being the Exclusive Resorts logo must be somewhere in the frame. The club will award the top three winners with additional space available nights.

  • First Prize: Five additional Space Available nights.
  • Second Prize: Three additional Space Available nights.
  • Third Prize: One additional Space Available nights.

Virtually since their inception, Exclusive Resorts has dominated the destination club sector, quickly surpassing industry pioneer Tanner & Haley and maintained an organic growth structure virtually throughout. Since the club's inception, members have traveled to seven continents, 25 different countries, and enjoyed over 425,000 days of vacation.
