Exclusive Resorts Releases 2011 Christmas and 2012 New Years Weeks To Members

Just a short week ago, we outlined Ultimate Escapes holiday reservation process. While the world's second largest destination club has already conducted their reservation process and continue to work through the results, Exclusive Resorts, the world's largest destination club, has released their peak Christmas and New Year's dates for the end of 2011 to members today.

Providing holiday access to members has long been a hurdle for every destination club, and in 2008, Exclusive Resorts devised a way to better handle these peak seasons by creating "Select Holiday" and "Peak Holiday" supplements to their memberships.

• Select Holidays: Spring Break, 4th of July, Thanksgiving
• Peak Holidays: Christmas, New Year's, President's Day, Select Holidays

Members who wish to travel during these highly accessed travel periods currently pay a non-refundable $49,000 for Select Holidays or $99,000 for Peak Holidays. Select Holidays are available for purchase for those who have base membership plans of 20 nights of annual access and greater, and Peak Holidays are available to those who have 30 nights or greater annually.

This morning, Exclusive Resorts released their 2011 Christmas and 2012 New Year's holiday weeks on their members' only website at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time.

Closing in on their 100,000th vacation, Exclusive Resorts dominates the destination club industry in terms of total members and properties and has led the sector in innovation for years, including the creation of the non-refundable portion of a member's deposit, now a near industry staple.
