Exclusive Resorts Creates New Four Year Payment Option

Exclusive Resorts, the world's largest destination club in terms of members, enjoyed their strongest sales month in nearly two years in June. That banner sales month might soon be eclipsed as the club has introduced a new payment option that allows new members the ability to amortize their membership deposit across up to four years.

Through the end of September, members will be able to join the luxury destination club by simply paying 20% of the membership fee and the first year of annual dues. The balance of the membership fee is spread out into equal payments over the next four years.

Despite the chaos of the economic climate over the recent past, Exclusive Resorts has announced 65 new residences to their portfolio over the past 18 months, now approaching nearly 400 total residences, available exclusively to members. The new additions include destinations such as Las Vegas and Steamboat Springs.

Punctuated by their high sales mark, Exclusive Resorts enjoyed a number of other major achievements during the first six months of 2010. Earlier in the year, the club celebrated its 100,000th vacation, a feat that no other destination club will approach for a number of years. Soon thereafter, AOL Co-Founder Steve Case became Chairman of the club, leading a $20 million round of new equity financing.

On the whole, members also remain thrilled with the club as more than 55 members elected to upgrade their membership during the first two quarters. During that same span, members enjoyed over 12,000 vacations, exceeding an overall satisfaction score of 90%. Exclusive Resorts members also made 15,000 new reservations during the first six months of 2010, a record for the club during a six month window.

Changes and new membership options have dominated the destination club landscape in the past several weeks. Quintess restructured their pricing and membership plans last month, giving members more flexibility to craft a membership specifically for their unique needs. The Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club will soon be discontinuing their two year trial membership package, giving members the opportunity to join without paying a membership deposit. The collected offers of Exclusive Resorts, Quintess, and Abercrombie & Kent give members an abundance of options to consider.
