Exclusive Resorts Announces New Beach Properties At Kapalua Bay, Hawaii
By: Destination Club News Date: May 30, 2009
Available for the prime summer months, Exclusive Resorts will be introducing twelve new properties in Kapalua Bay in Maui, bringing the club's total to 40 Hawaiian properties, joining sixteen residences at Kohala Coast on the Big Island and twelve at Ho'olei in Wailea, Maui. The twelve new properties will become available to Exclusive Resorts' members in the beginning of July.
A unique locale that showcases both mountain peaks and pristine beaches, Kapalua is located on Maui's northwest shore. Loosely translated to "arms embracing the sea," Kapalua's six bays and unspoiled beaches dominate the landscape. Moving into the island, the terrain quickly transforms into 23,000 acres of the Kapalua Resort. Located at The Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences, 54 of the 23,000 acres, each of the twelve Exclusive Resorts' three bedroom residences is just steps from the Kapalua Beach. Members will enjoy full access to both The Ritz-Carlton Club and the Kapalua Bay Club.
Fresh off a $180 million transformation in 2008, the Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences, Kapalua now includes a new spa, fitness center, and outdoor shower gardens. The expansive Ritz-Carlton Spa has 15 treatment rooms, some opening to private shower gardens and couple's cabanas. Other features include a relaxation lounge, men's and women's steam rooms, saunas, and whirlpools. The three-tiered swimming pool will be a delight to everyone in the family. Relax beside the 10,000 square foot pool, play one of the six tennis courts on site, or spend the day at the links at one of the two championship golf courses. The choice is yours.
With 40 properties available to members in Hawaii alone, Exclusive Resorts dominates the destination club industry in Hawaiian properties, leading Ultimate Escapes and Quintess by considerable margins. Earlier this month, Exclusive Resorts also added homes in Sea Island, Georgia.
The new Ritz-Carlton Destination Club also has a property at the famed resort. Brazilian hardwood floors are trimmed by stained African mahogany wood. Bosch, Fisher & Paykel, and Sub-Zero appliances litter the kitchen and guests can retire to private lanais to enjoy breathtaking views of the beach and mountains.
