Equity Estates Hits The Road

Equity Estates has begun a 20 city tour to help continue the impressive growth the club has seen over the past year with a reception at The St. Regis in their hometown of Atlanta. Over the next 15 months, the equity destination club plans to criss-cross the nation to discuss the benefits of membership to new clients and meet with members directly to discuss their goals and initiatives for their club. Since the Atlanta kick-off, Equity Estates has also made a stop in Dallas, Texas and is currently in LaJolla, California.

Thank you to all of you who came out to the St. Regis Hotel last Thursday for the kickoff of the “Equity Estates Tour of Cities.” The buzz and energy at the event was exciting! The St. Regis offered the perfect setting for the gathering; those who arrived early had the opportunity to see Herve Pennequin (the hotel’s sommelier) saber three bottles of champagne before we shared a toast to success.

Owner members had the opportunity to share vacation stories and network with one another. The conversation was filled with comparisons of favorite EE properties, vacation experiences and wish lists for future destinations. The Personal Travel Concierge team enjoyed meeting owner members and their friends and sharing their excitement about the new property additions in Florence, Italy, and Naples, Florida.

Equity Estates has plotted out the rest of the year for events, hitting six targeted areas before 2010 including the stops in Atlanta and Dallas. The remaining dates and locales include:

  • November 18-20, 2009: LaJolla, California
  • December 3: Atlanta, Georgia
  • December 6-7, 2009: Greensboro, North Carolina
  • December 9-10, 2009: Richmond, Virginia
  • December 11-13, 2009: Palm Beach, Florida

After a brief respite for the holidays, the club will continue with a return visit to San Diego followed by an event in Los Angeles. Equity Estates plans on spending at least one full day and night in each city to meet with interested parties and current club members. In addition, Equity Estates will begin to host monthly cocktail parties in Atlanta to communicate with their regional members, updating them on new properties and developments within the club.

Hosting these types of events has many benefits for the club and members alike. From the club's perspective, not only do they get to meet with potential members eager to learn more about the destination club concept, they also get to meet with their members and hear candid insight about the club. Members get the opportunity to converse with their fellow members, learning more about their favorite properties and enjoy the country club mentality that destination clubs are built upon. Ultimate Escapes has made these types of receptions a staple of their marketing efforts over the years and the Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club hosted a very successful member only meeting earlier in the year.
